Build log / August 13, 2026
What changed today.
A plain record of finished work across the website and Discord fleet. No plans, no victory laps, no entries for things that merely thought about becoming finished.

- 01

Newsletter reading experience rebuilt
doneApplied the almanac editorial treatment, boxed major sections, added section-specific icons, improved punctuation and table rendering, and standardized the public byline as DBTech45.
- 03
A-Portfolio archive navigation added
liveCreated a left-side date and ticker archive, unique issue URLs, and a mobile horizontal navigator. The duplicate LFTO issue was archived and CBRS became the August 13 issue.

Discord
- 01
Household desk condensed
doneConfirmed pa-home as the single household channel. The daily fridge brief, alerts, decisions, and family operating items now land in one place instead of being split across channels.
- 02
WeightWatchers workflow settled
decisionVerified that official food and Points tracking is app-only. The working system is now: Derek posts meals in ww-journey, the app remains the official Points source, and the fleet maintains the running ledger from posted Points or screenshots.
- 03
WeightWatchers desktop research completed
doneChecked public calculators and food lists. No current unofficial tool was accepted as authoritative because the modern formula is proprietary and many '2026' calculators quietly use old SmartPoints math.
- 04
Breakfast competitive audit completed
doneSofia compared Bobola's with Denny's in Nashua. The main gap was not food quality, but 24/7 access, visible bundles, simpler choices, corridor traffic, rewards, and national recognition. Existing Toast rewards and gift-card routes were identified as under-promoted assets.
- 05
Kaylee's intelligence feed repaired
doneFound that exhausted search credits were being mistaken for 'nothing happened.' The fallback and reporting logic were corrected so research failures no longer disappear as silent updates.
- 06
Markets desk operated with broker truth
doneBobby reconciled paper account access, published market briefs and A-Portfolio research, executed and closed one NVDA paper option, and documented the shortfall against the two-trade daily mandate without inventing fills.
- 07
NFL desk ran the full preseason slate
doneNicky convened Chase, Theo, and Cal across all six games, checked personnel and prices, and refused to manufacture a bet when no verified edge cleared the three-point rule.
- 08
Founder desk added judgment material
doneSenra delivered a documentary watchlist with links, explained the ownership problem in modern journalism, and published Ray Kroc and Walt Disney founder lessons tied to leverage and control.
